Void Studies explores a point of relation between ink and paper. Ink is poured onto a single sheet and gently moved across its surface, allowing it to pool and settle. As the ink dries and contracts, it reshapes the paper, producing a form that records this interaction. The work develops in response to the conditions of its making. Variations in temperature, humidity and airflow subtly affect how the ink moves and dries, influencing the final form as it emerges.
