Infinities

Infinities is an edition of 25 prints made using 25 silver brooches as printing plates. Each brooch was hand-engraved with a grid pattern, then arranged as a group and pressed into paper to produce the editioned prints. The brooches were then inlaid with sterling silver and fitted with pins, transforming them into wearable objects. The inlaying process was a way of finalising the edition—an act of closure similar to a printmaker scoring through a plate. Each brooch forms a self-contained field, while together they create a larger grid that reaches beyond its edges—each part, and the whole itself, suggesting an infinite extension beyond the frame.
